Senior Sales Manager - Hospitality - Kai Tak Sports Park


Sportfive is seeking a Senior Sales Manager of Hospitality to develop and execute elements of the commercial program for the new Kai Tak Sports Park located in Hong Kong, scheduled to open in 2023.
Kai Tak Sports Park encompasses approximately 28 hectares of land at the site of the former Kai Tak Airport, and includes a 50,000 seat stadium with retractable roof, 10,000 seat indoor arena, 5,000 seat outdoor public sports ground with athletics track, and substantial public open space, as well as a retail mall.

The individual will report to the Vice President, Commercial, Corporate Partnerships – Kai Tak Sports Park and be responsible for the sales of hospitality products at Kai Tak Sports Park.

Direct selling and client account management will be required.


• Develop & lead a sales team – 2 x Sales Managers
• Manage CRM system for hospitality program
• Generate sales revenue for the Kai Tak Sport Park hospitality program
• Achieve agreed sales targets with respect to the hospitality program (Suites, Loge Boxes and Premium Seats)

o Initiate sales opportunities via:
Face to Face meetings/networking
o Telephone engagement inc. Cold Calling
o Digital engagement
o Social Sales/Networking
o Leveraging existing networks

• Develop elements of the hospitality program for the Kai Tak Sports Park complex, including, but not limited to:

o Supporting construction partners to select the best finishes for the Corporate Suites, and other premium seating locations and supporting venues
o Working with the venue operator and food and beverage partner to select the proper F&B mis for premium members..
o Support the development of world class sales materials with the design team.

• Support the development of the wider hospitality sales and client servicing team.
• Manage and report on all aspects of the sales process using internal CRM system.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 5 years of commercial partnership sales experience in the sports/entertainment area.
• A track record of sales with demonstrated success and references in the hospitality sales space
• A strong understanding of the Hong Kong market and business landscape
• Spoken and written Cantonese & English language skills a must; Mandarin a plus
• Strong business negotiation and customer relationship management skills at C-suite level
• Excellent communication, coordination and project management skills to mobilize all aspects of the organisation's resources
• Excellent customer needs insight and the ability to develop solutions based on customer needs
• Experience in product development and implementation
